I International Workshop on Isotopes for Tropical Ecosystem Studies

I International Workshop on Isotopes for Tropical Ecosystem Studies

The first IsoNet international workshop will take place at the Rodrigo Facio campus of the University of Costa Rica during 02-06 October 2017. The workshop will focus on the application of the analysis of isotopic composition in the context of tropical ecosystems studies. The workshop is structured according to the main research lines of IsoNet, namely:

  • Biogeochemical tracers for weather and climate studies
  • Tropical forests and crops biogeochemical cycling
  • Isotope analysis within aquatic ecosystems
  • We encourage the participation of students interested in pursuing research along the focus areas of IsoNet as well as early career and senior scientists willing to foster academic exchange and cooperative research. Notice however that as the workshop is fully funded through initiatives by the organising committee, the workshop is limited to 50 participants.
